A magnificent antique Victorian rosewood inlaid display cabinet and bookcase dating from circa 1880, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship, architectural design, and decorative refinement throughout.

Constructed from richly figured rosewood of outstanding colour and quality, this impressive cabinet is adorned with extensive inlaid decoration across the cornice, frieze, doors, panels, and plinth. The central glazed display section is surmounted by an elegant arched pediment with intricate inlaid ornament, while the stepped superstructure creates a striking and highly decorative silhouette.

The upper section provides excellent display space behind glazed doors, complemented by mirrored panels and open shelving. Below, a further glazed cabinet offers additional storage and display opportunities, flanked by beautifully inlaid cupboard doors featuring classical urn and foliate motifs.

The combination of enclosed storage, display shelving, and architectural detailing makes this a highly practical as well as visually impressive piece, ideal for displaying books, porcelain, glassware, decorative objects, or fine collections.
