Description

A superb quality late georgian mahogany fold-over tea table, dating to around 1820. The table stands on an elegant turned column with finely carved lion paw feet and acanthus detail, exemplifying the craftsmanship of the Regecny period. The richly figured mahogany top opens to reveal a polished interior surface, ideal for occasional use as a tea or card table.

This piece displays a deep, warm patina and excellent proportions, making it a perfect addition to a hall, drawing room or study.
