Condition Note: This vitrine presents in good antique condition consistent with its age and quality. The kingwood veneers are sound overall with the natural patination of a well-kept 19th-century piece. The Vernis Martin painting is intact with warm, rich tones; as with all antique painted panels there is some age-related crazing and darkening of the varnish which contributes to the period character of the piece.

The ormolu mounts are all present and retain good gilding with natural patination - no significant losses. The glazing is complete to doors and sides. The glass shelves are present and the interior lining is in good order. The lower door opens and closes correctly.
