Craftsmanship & Detail

The table is raised on tripple pedestal supports with elegant swept legs, providing both stability and generous legroom. The yew wood top displays attractive figuring and a rich polished surface, with a central extension leaf allowing the table to expand from everyday dining size to a substantial entertaining table.

The chairs feature shaped top rails, carved shell detail and pierced splat backs inspired by classic Georgian and Chippendale furniture. The neutral upholstered seats make the suite easy to place within a wide range of interiors.

Interior Appeal

This is a highly practical and decorative dining suite, equally suited to a traditional dining room, country house, large kitchen-dining space or elegant contemporary interior. When fully extended, the table comfortably accommodates ten guests, making it ideal for family gatherings and entertaining.

Investment Value

Large complete dining suites with their full complement of matching chairs are increasingly difficult to source, particularly examples of this scale and presentation. The combination of yew wood figuring, practical extension, ten matching chairs and timeless traditional styling gives this suite strong long-term decorative appeal.

Purchased a beautiful 19th century French kingwood display cabinet from Hawkins Antiques. I am delighted with my purchase and would love to purchase from here again in the future! Lee provided excellent communication with very quick and thorough responses. Delivery was arranged extremely quickly and the delivery duo did a brilliant job up a narrow staircase, getting the cabinet into position safely and without issue. Highly recommend Lee and all at Hawkins Antiques!

Our house was built in 1820, so I have been slowly acquiring furniture from the same period. The piece is perfect & arrived very quickly too.

We purchased a table from Hawkins Antique and it is absolutely stunning and a mint condition! Delivery was very fast and the delivery team were fantastic and really went the extra mile to get the table into the house - it wasn't simple due to our narrow front door, but the guys managed to get it in, keeping the table safe along the way! Highly recommend - very happy! Made another purchase already!
