Description

A refined vintage games table in the Regency style, constructed in figured maple and richly inlaid with ebony. The rectangular top is centred by an inlaid chessboard, framed by decorative banding, above a single frieze drawer ideal for storing chess pieces or games accessories.

The table is raised on a slender central pedestal support, terminating in a swept quadriform base with decorative feet. The contrast between the pale maple and dark ebony inlay gives the piece strong visual definition and classical elegance.
