Condition Note: The fender is in good vintage condition commensurate with its age and use. The brass rope-twist columns, ball finials, connecting rail and stepped plinth base are all sound and stable with no damage or structural issues. The brass has developed a natural patination - warm, characterful and entirely consistent with honest age. The L-shaped cognac leather end seats show honest wear and aged patina consistent with a piece of this period - the natural softening, surface cracking and warm tone of old leather that adds considerably to the character of the piece.
