Craftsmanship & Detail

The cabinet is beautifully constructed in richly figured burr walnut veneers displaying deep colour and dramatic grain patterns characteristic of high-quality Victorian cabinetmaking. The central mirrored doors are framed by finely cast gilt bronze ormolu mounts including decorative masks and floral ornament of particularly good quality. To each side are elegant curved mirror-backed display shelves designed for showcasing decorative objects and collectibles. The interior is lined in velvet and fitted with two practical shelves providing generous concealed storage. Completing the piece is a pierced brass gallery rail running the full length of the top surface, further enhancing its refined decorative presence and architectural balance.
