A high-quality set of eight mid-20th century English mahogany dining chairs, retaining the original Rackstraw maker’s label, Rackstraw were well known for producing finely made furniture in the traditional English manner, even into the post-war period.

The chairs are crafted in solid mahogany and feature elegant shield-shaped backs with finely pierced splats, combining classical design with the clean proportions typical of mid-century English furniture. The workmanship is crisp and consistent throughout the set, with all chairs closely matched in colour, form, and construction.
