The pair present in good antique condition commensurate with age and use. The alabaster retains attractive natural colour variation and veining throughout, with honest age-related surface wear and minor marks consistent with genuine antique decorative pieces.

There are some minor nibbles, light surface imperfections, and small age-related signs of wear around the bases and edges as expected with alabaster of this age and type. Both columns remain solid, stable, and highly decorative.
