A fine quality pair of 19th century mahogany demi-lune tables, made in the manner of the renowned cabinet makers Gillows of Lancaster.

Crafted from richly figured solid mahogany, each table features a beautifully shaped demi-lune top with rounded ends and a deep frieze below. The tables stand on elegant turned and reeded legs, terminating in original brass cup castors, giving the pair both refinement and practicality.

The restrained design and excellent proportions reflect the influence of Regency period furniture, for which Gillows became widely respected during the early 19th century.
