A striking large antique German WMF Art Nouveau figural jug, dating to circa 1900. This exceptional piece features in a beautifully modelled organic form with flowing lines typical of the Art Nouveau movement.

The body is richly decorated with a reclining maiden and a cherub climbing the handle, surrounded by naturalistic elements including foliage and a frog motif. The sculptural quality and fluid design are characteristic of WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), one of the most renowned German makers of Art Nouveau metalware.

The surface displays a naturally aged patina, adding depth and authenticity, while highlighting the intricate casting and fine detailing throughout.

A highly decorative statement piece, ideal as a centrepiece, vase, or collector’s item for lovers of Art Nouveau, WMF antiques, and European decorative arts.
