Description
An elegant and highly decorative French three-piece mantel clock garniture, dating to the late 19th / early 20th century, crafted in richly veined green onyx with finely cast gilt and patinated bronze mounts.
The central clock is housed within a glazed architectural case, surmounted by a sculptural crest featuring a pair of cherubs flanking a classical urn. The enamel dial is delicately detailed with floral accents and gilt hands, complemented by a decorative sunburst pendulum. The clock is flanked by a matching pair of urn-shaped vases, each enriched with classical masks, scrolling handles, and ormolu ornamentation.
This garniture displays beautifully, offering strong symmetry and visual impact - ideal for a mantelpiece, console, or formal interior. A refined example of French decorative arts from the period.
