A fine antique walnut Queen Anne style armchair, dating to circa 1910, showcasing elegant proportions and classic craftsmanship.

Constructed in walnut, this chair features beautifully shaped cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet, a hallmark of traditional Queen Anne furniture. The shaped arms and carved detailing further enhance its refined silhouette.

The back is fitted with decorative hand-woven cane panels, adding both visual lightness and period authenticity, while the generously sized seat provides comfortable use as an occasional chair, desk chair, or accent piece.

Condition Note:  The walnut frame is in good antique condition throughout. The burr walnut veneer is intact and well-preserved with the rich patina of age. The carved cresting rail, shell motifs and claw and ball feet are all intact and well-defined. The caned back panels are present and functional. The frame is solid and stable with no loose joints. The drop-in seat retains its original floral fabric which shows wear consistent with its age and will require reupholstering - the seat frame beneath is sound. This is honestly and clearly disclosed - the chair is priced accordingly and the reupholstery represents an easy opportunity for the new owner to choose their own fabric.
