Craftsmanship & Detail

The serpentine shaped back is centred by an attractive carved crest featuring floral and shell motifs, while the substantial scrolling ends are finely carved and terminate in striking volute supports. The rosewood frame displays excellent colour, depth and grain, creating a warm and luxurious appearance.

Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear, surface marks, minor knocks. The rosewood frame retains excellent colour and decorative appeal.

The upholstery is presentable but shows age-related wear, fading, marks and general signs of use, as expected with an antique upholstered piece. Buyers may choose to use as is or reupholster to suit their interior scheme.
