The cabinet is constructed in richly figured walnut and enhanced with fine marquetry inlay throughout the frieze, uprights, and plinth. The quality of the veneers displays wonderful grain patterns and warm colour, creating a striking visual appearance from every angle.

Presented in good original antique condition with age-related wear, surface marks, minor scratches, and natural patina consistent with age and use. The walnut veneers retain excellent colour and figuring throughout, while the marquetry decoration and ormolu mounts remain highly decorative.
