A superb and elegant antique Victorian three-piece suite, comprising a carved walnut settee and a matching pair of armchairs, dating from circa 1870.

The suite is beautifully crafted in solid walnut with rich colour and patina, featuring deep scroll carving, shaped cabriole legs and original castors. The serpentine-fronted settee is centred by an oval upholstered back panel, flanked by finely pierced and carved splats, while the chairs echo the same design language throughout.

Upholstered in a traditional button-tufted floral fabric, the suite presents exceptionally well and offers both comfort and decorative impact. A striking and rare complete Victorian suite, ideal for a grand reception room, period interior or refined country house setting.

A fine example of Victorian craftsmanship with strong presence and symmetry.
