Condition Report

Presented in good antique condition commensurate with age. The mahogany case remains sound and attractive throughout, with the inlaid marquetry to the trunk door displaying excellent colour and definition. The satinwood banding is well preserved and the brass dial retains a warm honest patina with crisp engraving visible to the decorative spandrels.

The swan neck pediment and brass eagle finial are complete and undamaged, while the pendulum bob remains present. The movement has not been tested by us and we recommend professional servicing before use as a working clock. Minor age-related wear throughout is entirely appropriate for a genuine antique longcase clock of this period. An honest description from a specialist dealer with over 60 years of family experience.
