This exceptional antique French Vernis Martin bombe cabinet dates to circa 1900 and features richly applied gilt ormolu mounts and hand-painted panels in the romantic Vernis Martin style. The cabinet has a serpentine marble top, full gilt bronze embellishments, classical masks, and beautifully executed landscape and figure scenes to the front and sides.
