Condition Note: This cabinet presents in good antique condition commensurate with its age of approximately 160 years. The ebonised finish is sound throughout with the natural patina of age and honest surface wear consistent with a piece of this period. The ormolu mounts are present and complete - all porcelain plaques are intact, all major ormolu mounts are in place, and the quality of the gilding remains strong.

The porcelain plaques are all present and undamaged - the turquoise grounds and floral painting are clear and unfaded. The original door lock is present. The cabinet is stable and firm. As with all pieces of this age and type, there will be minor surface marks, small areas of wear to the ebonised finish, and natural patination to the ormolu - all of which are consistent with genuine antique status and add to the character of the piece.
