Condition Note: This plant stand presents in good antique condition with honest aged patina consistent with its circa 1900 date. The satinwood veneers are sound throughout with no significant lifting or losses. The painted decoration is well-preserved - the neoclassical motifs, floral borders and tassel drops retain good colour and definition across all surfaces, with the minor fading and light wear expected of a painted piece of this age.

The structure is firm and stable - all four legs are sound with no repairs or replacements evident, and the piece stands level and steady. The three shelf tiers are intact with no damage to the inlaid borders. The shaped aprons are complete.
