An elegant Edwardian Georgian Revival demi-lune console table, with a richly veined marble top above a carved giltwood frame finished in soft cream and gold.

The curved frieze is decorated with raised foliate scrollwork around a central cartouche, while four slender fluted legs give the table a light profile. At 105 cm wide and 48 cm deep, it sits neatly against a wall in a hallway or drawing room.

Figured Marble Top

The polished marble is patterned with warm brown, grey and white veining. A golden-toned border follows the curved edge, picking up the gilding beneath. The straight back allows the semi-circular top to sit neatly against a wall.

Carved Frieze & Fluted Legs

Raised gilt tendrils and leaves spread symmetrically from the central cartouche, standing out against the soft cream ground. Fine beaded mouldings frame the frieze and emphasise its curve.

Below, four round tapering legs are detailed with vertical fluting, gilt foliate capitals and beaded collars. The pale feet echo the painted frieze, carrying the cream and gold scheme through the frame.

Scale & Placement

The demi-lune profile works particularly well beneath a mirror or between windows. Its 48 cm depth leaves room for a lamp or a small display while keeping the table close to the wall.
