Condition Report

This nest of tables is presented in very good antique condition consistent with its age and quality. The hardwood remains sound throughout on all four tables with no structural issues, the joints are firm, and each table stands level and stable. The carved fretwork friezes remain complete throughout with no significant losses to the pierced carving, a particularly important point given the delicate nature of open fretwork decoration.

The finish retains an attractive dark polish with the natural patination acquired over many years of use. The tops display only minor surface wear including light scratching and tonal variation consistent with age, adding character and authenticity to the set.
