The cabinet is beautifully crafted in solid oak displaying rich colour and attractive grain throughout, enhanced by a warm golden patina developed over time. The sides and frieze are decorated with finely carved floral panels executed with crisp detail, while the leaded glazed doors feature geometric crossband decoration together with central carved roundels which add further decorative interest and architectural balance. Raised on carved supports united by a stretcher base, the cabinet combines strength, practicality, and visual presence. Presented in very good antique condition for a piece of this age and character. The carved panels remain crisp and well defined throughout with no breaks or repairs to the carving of note. The original leaded glazing is intact to both doors and the interior shelving remains sound and fully functional.

The oak has developed a rich warm golden patina entirely consistent with genuine age and honest use. Structurally the cabinet is solid and stable throughout with no wobble or loose joints. An honest description from a specialist dealer with over 60 years of family experience.
